Jalebi (Indian Snack) step by step
- Add water and sugar to pan, let boil, add in lemon juice and orange food color. Cook until mixture is syrupy. Set aside.
- Add flour to bowl. Add in pinch salt, pinch baking powder and orange food color.
- Add water and whisk until you get smooth mixture.
- Pour mixture in tomato sauce bottle.
- Squeeze batter into oil making spiral movements, starting from inside out.
- Set aside and fry until batter finished.
- Dip jalebi in sugar syrup both sides.
- Crunchy jalebi ready to be eaten.
